The Best Films of the 1980's

The 1980's wasn't as special for me as the 90's were, but it wasn't all that bad. It had some great moments with films like Raging Bull and Ran, we also had the creation of franchises like Terminator, Die Hard and the continuation of others into incredible sequels like Aliens. The sad note of the 80's is the Oscars and their love for dramas that were of a OK quality. What I mean by that is, that to this day many still don't even know of their existence. Instead everybody knows of Die Hard and of Star Wars, but of course these films would never be considered awards worthy even though they are better films. I mean how many people do you know that have seen Driving Miss Daisy and Moonstruck? They got the glory but at least the great films got the fame.
