The obvious has to be stated. Finally Christopher Nolan and one of his films are nominated for a big award. Me personally I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't the only nomination he will get and that it will continue with the Oscars. Also that at least at one ceremony that he doesn't leave empty handed.
Besides my Nolan fanboy love, its interesting to see that they are no nominations for Shutter Island nor The Ghost Writer some of the best films of this year in my opinion. Also its funny how Hollywood works. David Fincher now being nominated yet again for the Social Network and haven never gotten nominated for Seven nor Fight Club.
This year's awards I only hope for is that they don't make a fool of themselves as they always do. If films like the Social Network or the Fighter get the best picture award than its just unfair to the people who really deserve it. But what I'm saying is redundant as they always get movie lovers disappointed in the end..
