After Sony's announcement to reboot the franchise, many wondered who would take on the reboot. Many names were thrown out, David Fincher (Fight Club), James Cameron (Avatar). But the man who finally got the job is Marc Webb of (500) Days of Summer. Many might wonder what he will bring to the series. Me personally am happy with Sony's choice. As we've seen with his first feature film. He knows how to handle characters and deal with their problems. It will be nice to see what troubles he makes Peter Parker face. He may not have the experience of the other candidates and no effects experience as well. But its covered due to his directing ability where he manages to entertain in very original ways and if you need proof just see his first film. From all the Marvel characters Peter Parker is the most unlucky and i think Webb well do a swell job at bringing Spider-Man's luck around. But we will not know for sure until Summer of 2012.
